Unreasonable discrimination against disabled people in work and training is prohibited by a European Commission Directive and most member states have followed this lead. The aim of providing disabled people with equal opportunities is now a leading priority of European policies. QATRAIN will help enable disabled people to participate fully in mainstream education and training and so will make an important contribution to this objective.
